ID3 TAGS - You should set your ID3 tags. It doesn't take a lot of time and will help people keep track of your files. Some Tag Editors are available here and here. Or you can set them by double clicking on WinAmp's display while the mp3 is playing USENET - If you will be posting any mp3 files to Usenet, you should first check the alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.* FAQ here. WHAT GROUPS - Files should be crossposted to the main group, appropriate decade group and the spoken-word group. BURNING TO CD - Whenever you burn mp3 files to a CD you should make sure your record DAO (Disc-At-Once), this will prevent your software from inserting 2-second pauses in between the tracks. POSTING TO USENET - Agent and Free Agent are the two most popular Newsreaders for the PC platform and I would suggest you use them. They are available here.
